In 2005, NFBA assisted in the production of a brief documentary video for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS).

PBS does not air commercials, so often programs may not fill the entire time slot for a particular program. In the space between, independent PBS stations may run one of series of short programs called "Spotlight On." The documentary NFBA assisted with is called "Spotlight On Architecture: Post-Frame Buildings."
