High Rock Landings Retail Mall

This retail facility, High Rock Landings, was constructed with post frame by the Morton Buildings, Inc. branch office in Lexington, NC. The customer had compared post frame with metal frame, but steel framing did not offer the details desired by the property developer.

The High Rock Landings strip mall is divided into six 20'x60' retail units. Unique features include the deep fascia overhang design, stone wainscot, three gable dormers with vinyl shakes and the cedar-wrapped porch header and columns.

The customer also wished to leave unrented units without concrete to allow flexibility with rental agreements. High Rock Landings offers a rustic look with cedar, stone and shake to appeal to those who frequent High Rock Lake. From build to completion, the facility was a success thanks to post frame.
